From Policy to Practice: Pilot Program Increases Access to Medication for Opioid Use Disorder in Rural Colorado

This is an academic paper that evaluates a pilot that established a collaborative in rural Colorado to increase the prescribing of medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) by nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Preliminary results suggest the pilot was successful in increasing prescribers of MOUD and engagement of patients in MOUD.
